Relates to fabric made by coating one side of a woven or knitted base cloth with a polymer or copolymer of vinyl chloride, and intended primarily for upholstery use in furniture and transport. Four types are provided for solid or expanded PVC or woven base fabric, and solid or expanded PVC or knitted base fabric and values are in metric units. A range of mandatory requirements is given with limiting values tabulated, and optional requirements are provided for. Suggested grade applications are given in an appendix. For tests, reference is made to AS 1441 and other Standards.
