Applies to cables, flexible cables, and flexible cords insulated with polyvinyl chloride or copolymer (hereinafter called PVC) and intended for use in electrical installations at voltages not exceeding 660 volts to earth. It applies also to sheathing of PVC on cables, flexible cables, and flexible cords for similar use. Cables, flexible cables, and flexible cords insulated with material other than PVC, but sheathed with PVC, shall compy with the relevant specification in so far as the PVC sheathing is concerned.
