ASARCOLO 158 and 255 are eutectic alloys that are easily melted. Each number indicates a eutectic with a single melting point; thus ASARCOLO 158 has a melting point of 158 F and ASARCOLO 255 melts at 255 F. These alloys have a wide range of uses in aiding foundry and machine-shop practice, for bending thin sections, anchoring components, spotting fixtures, transferring heat, soldering and sealing.
