BERYLCO Alloy 42C is a newly developed modification of the older BERYLCO Alloy 41C (Alloy Digest, November 1977, Ni-251). Alloy 42C is a highly castable, air-melting, nickel-base alloy that can be precipitation hardened (aged) to high strength and hardness. It is a stainless alloy and exhibits excellent resistance to wear, corrosion and oxidation. The applications for Berylco Alloy 42C include cast-to-shape jewelry, surgical instruments, valves, pumps and dental alloys.
