NITRONIC 32 is basically a low-nickel chromium-manganese austenitic stainless steel strengthened by an addition of nitrogen. It has annealed strength approximately two times that of AISI Type 304 stainless steel and comparable corrosion resistance. It is used in such applications as fasteners, springs, antennae, shafting and pole-line hardware.
