UHB STAVAX ESR is a high-chromium (13.6%) martensitic stainless plastic-mold steel. It is Electro-Slag Refined (ESR) to provide the best polishability. It is characterized by good hardenability, high hardness, excellent polishability and fair resistance to corrosion. It is used for both injection and compression plastic molds.
