CRONIFER 1815 LCSi is a silicon-containing, low-carbon, austenitic chromium-nickel steel; it is used in industrial chemical installations and equipment. Because of the addition of silicon, this steel is highly resistant to concentrated nitric acid (67% and higher) and to nitric acid solutions containing oxidizing agents. It has good strength, ductility, impact values and weldability.
