RMI 55 is a grade of commercially pure unalloyed titanium. It has good ductility and formability with a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 55,000 psi. It has good impact properties at room temperatures and excellent resistance to corrosion by marine atmospheres and seawater. Among its uses are equipment requiring resistance to corrosion and aircraft parts.
