The purpose of this document is to provide guidelines for the implementation of additional toll-free numbers. This may require many network modifications, including the upgrade of hardware and software in the telecommunications service providers and customers networks, and the SMS/800 System. The SMS/800 Management Team (SMT) administers the national database for toll-free numbers. This document outlines minimum test scenarios to ensure all telecommunications SPs and SCs are capable of accessing the new Toll Free NPA on the implementation date.
