This method is intended for the analysis of RH-287 in wood. The method is applicable for wood samples in the form of sawdust or shavings.

Wood sawdust samples are extracted in methanol using an ultrasonic bath. The filtered extracts are analyzed by HPLC with UV detection at 275 nanometers. The concentration of RH-287 in wood is determined using external standard single point calibration method.
