This method provides for the quantitative determination of DCOI preservative in treated wood. The methodology requires utilization of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet (UV) detection.

The method is applicable to the determination of DCOI in wood samples in the form of sawdust or shavings.
