U1 contains information for end users/specifiers, and T1 contains treating requirements for manufacturersThis standard is to be used in conjunction with AWPA C1-00, and C1-00 is hereby made a part o fthis Standard.
Note:1 Posts, in contrast with poles, cover lengths shorter than
16 feet. This standard covers the preservative treatment
of round, half-round, and quarter-round posts. It does
not cover the preservative treatment of posts sawn four
sides. Sawn posts are to be treated under AWPA
Standard C2.
