Recognizing the increased regulatory emphasis on water quality in the distribution system, the Cincinnati, Ohio Water Works (CWW) is implementing a dynamic water quality model for its distribution system. The long-range goal is to use the water quality model as an important tool in evaluating and addressing a wide range of water quality issues and continued regulatory compliance associated with the distribution system water quality. This paper presents CWW's effort associated with the development, implementation, and potential applications of the water quality model. Includes tables, figures.
