This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a description of the Lagrangian Actinometry (LA) method and presents a LA Validation Protocol Development Project that was
supported by NYSERDA and AwwaRF.
Project components include:
field demonstration -- development/refinement; Stakeholder Technical Advisory Panel;
draft protocol; and,
large-scale demonstration for utility. Topics presented include: Lagrangian Actinometry Using Dyed
Microspheres; validation design; DMS and Biodosimetry Result Comparisons; comparison of log inactivation; and, log inactivation algorithm. Results include an example of application to UV reactor
