Project objectives of this powerpoint presentation include:
develop a White Paper to
document current asset management research and asset
management practices that utilities use today,
identifying the top trends and needs; and,
produce a research Road Map of a
multi-year prioritized strategy for future asset management
research. Five major activities and deliverables include:
White Paper - review status of asset management
and identify the research gaps;
Workshop - participating utilities express views on
future research and the Roadmap;
Case Studies - illustrate ongoing real world activities;
Tailored Asset Management Readiness Reviews
for specific utilities; and,
Project Report with research roadmap. Six Initiatives of Asset Management
Research Framework are presented and include: Asset Management
Frameworks/Models for Organizations; Risk Management; Condition Assessments
and Performance Monitoring; Decision Making for CIP
and R&R; Asset Management IT
Integration and Data Management; Operations and
Maintenance Practices.
