This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the Metro North Georgia Water Planning District, specifically its Water Supply and Water Conservation
Management Plan. Ten water conservation measures are presented and include the following:
conservation pricing;
replace older, inefficient plumbing fixtures;
pre-rinse spray valve education program;
rain sensor shut-off switches on new
irrigation systems;
sub-unit meters in new multi-family buildings;
water system leak reduction and repair;
residential water audits;
low-flow retrofit kits to residential customers;
commercial water audits; and,
education and public awareness programs.
