This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of flush toilet and pit latrine disadvantages in Bolivia. The first phase of a program to implement ecological bathrooms in San Pedro, Bolivia is presented and involved generating demand through sanitation approaches and the use of education materials. The second phase involved the design of dryer materials/fertilizer. The third phase involved construction and educating the families in hygiene procedures. The fourth phase involved post construction and cascade methodology. A subtopic presented in this same presentation is Eco San in South and Central
