This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of smart controllers and how they calculate irrigation schedules. The benefits of using smart controllers are presented for commercial and residential sites, along with a holistic approach to landscape water management, irrigation system maintenance, and landscape irrigation efficiency. Presentation conclusions indicate that: the irrigation system design and maintenance are the
foundation for water use efficiency;
smart controllers provide an important tool for
appropriate irrigation scheduling; and,
a holistic approach to landscape water management
