This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the San Diego County Water Authority, the California Water Plan and the cornerstone of the plan which is integrated regional water management. San Diego's Integrated Regional Water Management Program (IRWMP) is presented, along with IRWM governance, IRWM plan goals, and plan objectives that include the following: develop and maintain a
diverse mix of water resources; construct, operate and maintain a
reliable water infrastructure system; effectively reduce sources of
pollutants and environmental stressors; and, protect, restore and
maintain habitat and open space. Cooperative IRWMP projects are presented, along with current/future activities.
