This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of H2opportunity.net, a website developed by the
Georgia Association of Water Professionals, as an
excellent example of using Web 2.0 technology to
create a vibrant recruiting tool. A recent study found that when companies want to recruit
recent graduates, an effective website is a key element. However, the research also found that four
characteristics had a negative
impact on job seekers. An example is presented of the Portland Water Bureau using social media websites to recruit candidates for employment.
