This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of a project at the University of California, Santa Cruz to demonstrate that
alternative supply is a
viable option, and
to illustrate some
challenges using example
case study. Project goals were compliance and increased independence, and the project work flow included: data collection; analysis; workshop; and, reuse report. Alternative supplies and demands are presented, along with two example of projects of rainwater irrigation and rainwater toilet flushing. Preliminary cost estimates are provided, along with key lessons learned. Includes tables, figures.
