This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of a non-revenue water (NRW) abatement program where HDR and M.E. Simpson were contracted to perform a
leak detection survey of the distribution system. Low NRW amounts were found in the leak detection survey and a large meter testing pilot study was conducted. Pilot test conclusions indicated that: implementing a large meter testing program projected
recapturing to $3.4M/year in revenue; NRW lowered to approximately 11.5%; and, 1 - 16" turbine meter was replaced immediately and
resulted in a $34,000/month revenue increase which was enough revenue recovered to finance a meter testing
