In this bench-scale study, atrazine was spiked into distilled deionized water and Ohio River water. The adsorption of atrazine using PAC was examined using bottle-point isotherms and jar tests. The effects of initial solute concentration, background organic matter, alum coagulation, and the importance of the order of addition of PAC and coagulant was studied.
