This paper focuses on four commercial water conservation programs that, over
the past five years, have saved/added 4 million gallons per day to the supply system
at a levelized cost well below the avoided cost of new supply sources. These
four programs have each produced long term, reliable water savings: Commercial
Toilet Rebate Program; Water Smart Technology; Water Efficient Irrigation;
and, Water Reuse. Each program effort is unique in it's own way. Program results
and how they were achieved are discussed including statistical information, and the
cost and benefit from both the utility and customers perspectives. Includes tables, figures.
