The DuPage Water Commission (DWC) is pioneering new systems integration technology by implementing transfer of data between their Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and their hydraulic simulator for purposes of system design confirmation, operational scenario development and operator emergency response training. DWC's history and vision are introduced, followed by a presentation of the methodology and implementation, concluding with a confirmation study and a discussion of applications of the integrated technology.
