This slide presentation gives information on the Initial Distribution System Evaluation (IDSE) that are studies conducted by Community Water Systems and are intended to select new compliance monitoring sites that more accurately reflect sites representing high total trihalomethanes (TTHM) and haloacetic acids (HAA5) levels. Topics covered in the presentation include: how to plan ahead; guidance manual; IDSE sampling plan; standard monitoring programs; sampling protocol; new compliance locations; and, the IDSE report.
