New safety regulations have resulted in a review of how vault meters are read.
Gas monitoring instruments, harnesses and ventilation equipment, and respiratory
systems are becoming more common. Computer systems that maintain, monitor and
track gas monitoring instruments and unsafe vaults must now be used to improve
recordkeeping as it relates to safety issues. This paper presents a series of
slides dealing with gas monitoring instruments and instrument reading options for
use in confined spaces.
