This slide presentation outlines information on transforming the information technology/geographic information system of the Cleveland Water Department (CWD). Background information is given on CWD, its asset information repositories, linkages between systems, asset life cycle, and integration goals. The goals include: comprehensive asset registry via integrated systems; logical flow of asset lifecycle information between systems; standardization of key attributes and common identifiers; accurate and maintainable GASB 34 compliance; and, create a foundation for lifecycle based asset management.
