In 2000, the City of Jackson, Mississippi authorized the project team of Neel-Schaffer,
Inc., Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (CDM), and CiViLTech, Inc. to proceed with
engineering services for the O. B. Curtis Water Treatment Plant Expansion project.
Study and design services include pilot testing of water treatment technologies and
design and bidding of an expansion to the O. B. Curtis Water Treatment Plant
(OBCWTP) based on the outcome of the pilot testing. This paper details the outcome of
the pilot testing and the basis of design for the OBCWTP expansion. Includes tables, figures.
