This powerpoint presentation presents a project that
delivered treated Tuolumne River surface
water (TID water rights),
TID responsible for constructing and
operating the project that
wholesaled water to the California cities of
Turlock, Modesto, Hughson, and Ceres.
Project drivers included groundwater quality and
drinking water standards, and project history is outlined. Current efforts include: Turlock approved first Drinking Water
Agreement in Oct. 2005, followed by
Ceres, Hughson, and Modesto; and,
Design-Build contract included
water treatment plants and
pipelines. Requested flow rates, project operations, key components of regional water system, TID - infiltration gallery, raw water system, water treatment plant, pilot plant process design, finished water storage and
pump station, water transmission, pipeline alignment, and city interconnections are all presented.
