In this study, organophosphorus pesticides were extracted from water using solid-phase extraction (SPE) with Sep-Pak C18 cartridges and eluted with ethyl-acetate. Liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) was also used to extract these pesticides from water samples following the US Environmental Protection Agency method 507 (1) and the obtained results were compared. Pesticides were determined in concentrated eluates by gas-liquid chromatography with nitrogen-phosphorus detection (GC-NPD). Includes 6 references, tables, figures.
