The Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) have been participating in a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to design and implement a contamination warning system at the Greater Cincinnati Water Works. GCWW was selected as the pilot utility for the USEPA's Water Security Initiative Project. The project is focused on the design, implementation and evaluation of a sustainable contamination warning system.
