This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of an AWWA initiated project to develop the
business case for the
formation of WARNs (Water Agency
Response Networks). The benefits of WARNs were starting to be
demonstrated and the
economic benefits needed to be
formally addressed and quantified. Key project steps are presented and included a survey of utilities' awareness and
involvement in WARN, and elements are provided of the business case
identified in the literature review. Two examples of WARNs are provided. Includes tables, figures.
