Chemical, Biological and Radiological
Methods, and three additional fields
needed to address
emergency response that include:
Validation Flags -
indicates if and how method
was validated;
Rapidity Ratings -
estimated time to perform
analysis and obtain data; and,
Specificity Ratings -
a method is rated as a screening
method or confirmatory method. The CBR Advisor is presented as
an expert system companion to NEMI-CBR that
enables users to obtain advice in response to an incident, and
provides access to detailed information for planning and
training purposes. Presentation summary includes:
NEMI-CBR is a powerful information resource to
help the water sector to quickly identify and analyze
contaminants in response and recovery;
CBR Advisor helps in planning for, and responding
to, a contamination incident; and,
can be used by
utilities, laboratories,
and others involved
in an incident response.
