This standard applies to a flat latex paint for most interior walls and ceilings, with the exception of bathrooms and kitchens, either new or previously painted.
The paint is suitable for application over all types of wall surfaces, including wallboard, gypsum board, dry plaster, cement, brick or concrete block.
The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
