This standard states the physical and chemical requirements for a liquid mixture of surface-active agents and suitable solubilizers intended for use in hand dishwashing.
Material produced in accordance with this standard is designed for hand dishwashing. It is, however, a general-purpose product that should be reasonably satisfactory for a number of other cleaning operations such as washing delicate fabrics, cleaning metal surfaces and walls, and washing vehicles.
Material produced in accordance with this standard is not suitable for dishwashers.
