This publication provides the industry consensus on how brazed aluminum heat exchangers (BAHXs) may be used to safely boil oxygen at pressure. It covers design and operating requirements and recommendations. It summarizes the industry's experience using aluminum in oxygen service. The relevant experimental work with oxygen and aluminum is reviewed and its application to industrial applications is discussed.
