1.1 This standard applies to unvented portable type gas camp heaters, of the catalytic and infra-red types only, up to and including a maximum input of 12 000 Btuh (3.517 kW) intended for use either indoors or outdoors with propane and butane gases. For the purpose of this standard, indoors refers to the interior of portable structures such as tents, tent trailers and fishing huts. 1.
