1. Scope

This Standard contains the quality assurance program requirements for the operation of a nuclear power plant.

This Standard applies to all activities related to the operation of safety-related equipment, systems, and structures as defined by the owner. Notes: (1) Interpretation of this Standard by the Technical Committee will be according to the intent of Standard CAN/CSA-N286.0. (2) The term safety-related is defined in Appendix A of Standard CAN/CSA-N286.0.
