Machinery Survey Arrangements

General: Every machinery survey arrangement as described in this section is considered as equivalent with respect to safety of the ship. The available machinery survey arrangements are based on the same inventory list established for the ship, but differ in the conditions for obtaining and maintaining the survey arrangement and the corresponding survey methods to verify that the machinery system is in an acceptable condition. If a survey arrangement is not specified, machinery renewal is set as default.
