FM Approvals 1319 encompasses the design and performance requirements for horizontal, end suction type, centrifugal fire pumps for use in fire protection systems. Approval is limited to horizontal, end suction type, centrifugal pumps which have a rated pressure of at least 40 psi (275 kPa). In cases where metric sized horizontal, end suction type, centrifugal fire pumps are to be examined for Approval, test criteria comparable to the United States equivalent size shall be used. This standard encompasses the requirements for single and multistage end suction fire pumps.
