The material defined by this specification is a waterborne, nonmetallic basecoat of a basecoat/clearcoat system required to provide the best exterior quality nonmetallic finish. It consists of a physical drying basecoat with a thermosetting acrylic clear topcoat (e.g. SKM-32J9553-A), which are applied wet-on-wet and concurrently stoved. It shall be suitable for spray application.
