During 2006 a series of meetings with CAD & Drafting Committee concluded that the requirements of PP001 were not being consistently followed and were misunderstood. The principal reason for this was that CAD & Drafting requirements are contained in the Ford Motor Company Cad & Drafting Standards. Cad & Drafting people are familiar with this document but were not familiar with the requirements of PP001.
In order to resolve this issue and ensure that all CAD & Drafting requirements are maintained within a single global document, the requirements of PP001 were included in Section F-7 of the CAD & Drafting Standards.
Section F-7 of the CAD & drafting Standards was released on December 31, 2006, this release made the requirements of PP001 redundant.
