This specification defines peroxide cured, long life, high temperature EPDM rubber coolant hoses internally reinforced with high performance synthetic fibers. These hoses are resistant to electro-chemical (striations) degradation.

A6 Hoses have either modified para-aramid (such as Kevlar K119), or copolymer para/meta-aramid (such as Teijin Technora) fiber reinforcement, to achieve extreme impulse and/or flex resistance.

A7 Hoses have either modified para-aramid (such as Kevlar K119) or meta-aramid (such as Nomex) fiber reinforcement, constructed to provide the higher target burst pressure.
