Purpose
Investigation of the load resistance of the seat back, its adjustment and locking devices and functional check of the head restraint (if present) for single seats.
Applicability
This test procedure applies to motor vehicles of the category M1, if not stated otherwise in the regulations mentioned in paragraph 1.5.2. It serves for product validation with reference to vehicle safety.
