This standard is applied to evaluate the degreasing performance for all types of oils passing paint shop of the GMDAT & KD exporting nations by applying it to the panel made by GMDAT or by outside order.

All material providers & parts providers which supply the oil satisfying the above conditions shall suggest the evaluation result of conforming to the method of measuring the degreasing performance as requested by GMDAT. (Example of the degreasing performance evaluation target oil: KD rust preventive oil, press-washing oil, press fluids, etc)

PURPOSE

This standard specifies the test method to evaluate the degreasing performance by using the alkali-solution degreaser for the oil-spread sample.
