1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the requirements for a black, waterborne, thermosetting, primer that is normally applied by flowcoat and is subsequently coated with a primer surfacer and/or a sealer which may or may not be subsequently topcoated. This primer is intended to provide a smooth, corrosion resistant coating over phosphated metal surfaces. These coated surfaces have additional requirements set forth in the specifications for subsequent coatings.
