1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the requirements for a thermosetting, sandable, powder primer surfacer that is applied by electrostatic spraying and is subsequently topcoated with high solids acrylic enamel or waterborne color coats. This primer surfacer is intended to provide a smooth, adhesion promoting coating over previously applied primers such as cathodic E-coat. It is also intended to provide an easily sanded surface. These coated surfaces have additional requirements set forth in the specifications for subsequent coatings.
