1 Scope This specification covers the qualification and performance requirements for exterior rigid top-coat systems which utilize a one component etch resistant clearcoat applied over a water-borne, one component basecoat. Typical vol-ume solids as sprayed are 25% (including wa-ter) for basecoat and 50 to 60% for clearcoat.
