1 SCOPE.

This specification covers the requirements for a weatherable, flexible, thermoset primer/accent color for use over plastics. The primer shall provide a smooth, adhesion promoting surface for subsequent coatings and provide a durable coating as the accent color. The primer is not intended for use on large horizontal surfaces. When required, the primer shall provide a conductive surface for electrostatic application of subsequent coatings. The primer must be sandable, have the ability to fill minor surface imperfections in the substrate, and act as a barrier to prevent popping of topcoats during subsequent bakes.
